The endless nights at a local coffee shop.
Cups of coffee.
Packs of cigarettes
It was done.
Sam and I started to look for the actors.
The first actor that I meet was Jang Moon Jung. She is definitely probably one of the most beautiful girls I have ever seen in Korea. She was kind, and very opinionated. After a cup of coffee and a couple of cigarettes she agreed to jump on the wagon. She was a go.
As for the male lead things were a bit more difficult. We couldn't find someone that was even close to being capable of taking this part. And even if they were capable of acting it out, they either looked too young or too old.
So we met up with Peter Song of Creek and River Korea. He said that he had an actor for us. We met and decided to meet with him. Sean Dulake, a half white/Korean guy. He was great. I loved the energy that he had. That very day, I called Sean and asked him to be a part of the film he agreed. We finally had the cast set for the film.
Things were going good.
On the other hand,
Peter also introduced us to Yujin Kim. Probably one of the biggest assets to our production. She was awesome. Passionate and never took no for an answer. She was beautiful inside and out. And she made it her duty to find us a film crew. She was the heart of this movie.
So here's the list of what we had.
Him.... Sean Dulake
Her.... Moon Jung Jang
Producer... Yujin Kim
Sound... Byung In Kim
1st Assistant Cameraman... Kyung Suk Park (Dirty Carnival)
2nd Assistant Cameraman... Hyun Suk Yang (Dirty Carnival)
Production Assistants... Paul Chun, Se Jin Hur, Patrick Pittman
MakeUp... Sun Jin Lee
Things were starting to look good.
