Things are finally done.

After 5 months of post production.

Editing.
Sound.
Color Correction.
Websites
Everything.

The whole shabang was done.

Yesterday it was great. We officially had the first screening of Snow Walk at Zimoon Bar. The cast was there, the staff was there, and a couple of friends and random people as well.

It was over. People were happy. I was happy.

UPDATE
As of the moment our very Sean Dulake is going to be appearing in a new Korean drama. He just officially got the audition. Congrats Sean.

Next up, we gotta start submitting Snow Walk into the festival circuit. Let's see how this goes.

LAST DAY

Weather is a bitch indeed.

I fell asleep the night before the weather forecast said it wasn't going to snow. So I was quite happy. I wake up at around 4 in the morning to a whopping 2 feet of snow. I was shocked. I get a phone call from Yujin (my AD). She asked me if we should still shoot. I ok'd everything and started to head over to the final location, Naksan Park.

So I'm driving on my way to the freeway and my car loses control and my car runs into a sidewalk. My entire wheel comes out and I'm a sitting goose. I'm freaking out.

I hurry up and call a tow truck and hop into a cab and rush over to the park. Throughout the entire cab ride, I was more worried about how our van was getting to the park. It sucked more because the park is on the top of a mountain. We're screwed. Luckily our entire crew pushes a van up the entire mountain and we are lucky enough to begin filming.

However the problems don't end there. Moon Jung our lead female doesn't think she should leave the house because it might be dangerous, I understand but I tell Yujin to convince her anyway she can to make her come to Naksan Park. She comes in around 9 and we start shooting at 10.

I would have to say this was the most productive day ever. We wrap things up at around 3, and we head over back to Apku Jung, because I want to reshoot the last scene one more time. We get to Apku Jung, and everything was a smooth ride from there.

We wrapped filming. And there was just this hoorah from the entire staff. Faces smiling, we head over to our favorite Sam Gyub Sal joint, and everyone is in dire need of a drink. So to Zimoon Bar we go. We polish off two bottles of Jack among the left over staff and just talk about the things that were going on throughout production. It was a good feeling. Although it was done for them. I knew I had a long road ahead of me in post production...

Love,
Steve
